“The exposure I was given in the Financial Futures/Kenan-Flagler Youth Institute gave me a vision for bigger and greater opportunities that I had only read about in a book or seen on a website. Before attending the Financial Futures/Kenan-Flagler Youth Institute, I knew I liked investing and wanted to embark on a career in the broad world of financial services, but after speaking with professors and professionals in the Institute, I discovered several areas that fit my natural skills and personality. This experience has encouraged me to continue my education and journey through other work experiences and self study to build the skills and networks I will need to start a hedge fund in the future.”

“Financial Futures/Kenan-Flagler Youth Institute helped me identify my interests and shape my future.  The program greatly impacted my life. Without it, I don’t think I would have such a strong interest in finance and be a business major. I was fortunate to have this opportunity at such a young age to help mold what I want out of my degree and future.  Participating in a program like this was an invaluable experience.
